About Us

Welcome to Craven Wildlife Rescue, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing animals in need. Our mission is to protect and care for wildlife, predominantly small mammals and raptors, ensuring their well-being and survival.  Lots of British wildlife is now threatened with extinction, we are the most wildlife depleted country in Europe and rate in the bottom tenth worldwide. We are trying to do our bit to keep native species alive and well in our countryside.

At Craven Wildlife Rescue, we are committed to providing a safe haven for injured and orphaned animals. Through our care and rehabilitation programs, we strive to release animals back into their natural habitats, promoting conservation and environmental awareness.

Education

Promoting Awareness

Education is key to fostering a culture of respect and compassion towards wildlife. Our educational talks in schools and to young people and adult groups raise awareness about conservation issues, animal welfare, and the importance of coexisting harmoniously with nature.
